Health and Environment
BMP has taken effort to establish right to health in the light of Cairo Declaration. The awareness raising activities on reproductive maternal and adolescent health issues to the young girl’s children is regular rant of work of BMP. The organization also works for awareness building on different issues like safe drinking water & sanitation, food and nutrition, environmental degradation etc. Beside this, health services are provided to the victims of violence.
Social Welfare
BMP’s relief and rehabilitation arid nutritional project for the mothers and children made significant contribution during the time of natural calamities. Awareness raising against drug addiction is also among the welfare activities of BMP. It printed and distributed leaflets on drug addiction and abuse for consciousness building.
Bangladesh Mahila Parishad’s sub-committee in Social Welfare: Bangladesh Mahila Parishad’s sub-committee for Social Welfare aids people affected by famine, storm, floods and cold waves in winter. The Social Welfare sub-committee is currently taking efforts to distribute warm clothes among those needy in north Bengal
