Collection, preservation and dissemination of information on women are the regular activities of BMP. Researches (Action
Research) are being conducted to assess the status of women, to gather information on violence and other
kind of exploitations and also to identify the priority areas of intervention.
The training programs are being specifically designed for catering to the needs of the mid-level organizers in general and young women in particular to enhance their capacity. BMP designed modern ‘General Sensitized Training Module’ for Training of Trainers purposes. |

Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP) has organized a
computer training program for its’ employees as part of its’ skill
development plan on computer. The training program held in two phases at
Data Soft premises first on 15th to 28th November’05 and second on 29th
November to 12th December’05. Most of the BMP executives have
participated in this training. Keeping BMP human resources touched with
the latest development on computer was the purpose of arranging this kind
of training program. BMP looks forward to arranging more computer
training day to come. The training was organized by Tracer Electrocom and
Datasoft systems BD Ltd.
